New Faces, Familiar Rivals and Fresh Ambitions as Bristol Premier Combination Unveils 2026/27 Constitution
The Uhlsport Bristol Premier Combination Football League has officially confirmed its constitution for the 2026/27 season, setting the stage for another exciting campaign across both the Premier Division and Division One.
The new season sees a number of changes throughout the league structure, with clubs joining from the Gloucestershire County League, promotion winners stepping up from Division One, and several new arrivals entering the Combination ranks.
The league would like to extend a warm welcome to Premier Division newcomers Bedminster Down and Old Sodbury, who earned promotion after impressive campaigns in Division One last season. They are joined by Cribbs Reserves and Hanham Athletic, both of whom return to the Bristol Premier Combination following relegation from the Gloucestershire County League.
Premier Division champions Iron Acton remain in the league after narrowly missing out on promotion through the Gloucestershire County League play-offs. Having once again demonstrated their quality by lifting the title, Iron Acton will undoubtedly be among the favourites when the new season gets underway.

Division One also welcomes a number of ambitious new clubs following promotion from the Uhlsport Bristol & District League. De Veys, Lawrence Weston, Made For Ever, Hallen A and Longwell Green Sports Development all take their place in the league for the first time and will be looking to make an immediate impact.
Patchway Town return to Division One following relegation from the Premier Division, while a strong group of established clubs will once again battle for promotion.

The league also bids farewell to Shaftesbury Crusade, who leave the Bristol Premier Combination following relegation from the Premier Division. After many years of service to the league, Shaftesbury will compete in the Bristol & Suburban League during the 2026/27 season.
